On behalf of the Brothers of the Mu Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc.—affectionately known as the “Port City Ques”—I welcome you. As we proudly celebrate 87 years of brotherhood and service to our community, we honor the legacy of our chapter’s founders. Their vision lives on through our work, our principles, and our unwavering commitment to excellence.

Mu Alpha continues to remain steadfast in our mission to cultivate leadership, serve our communities, and amplify the impact of Omega Psi Phi, Inc. Our footprint is expanding—through stronger partnerships, greater visibility, and a deepened presence in civic and community spaces.

But we cannot do this alone.

Here’s how you can take action and join us in this work:

  • Support Chapter Initiatives – Invest your time and resources in causes that reflect our values: from scholarships and health walks to voter registration drives and community endeavours. 
  • Organize and Mobilize – Build and strengthen Omega networks. Whether it’s through service projects, voter education, or public health initiatives, collaboration is key to advancing our mission.
  • We ask all brothers to engage with Fraternal Leadership – Stay involved at the local, district, and international levels. Be an active member of a committee, attend monthly chapter meetings, council, annual, and international meetings. Ask questions, share ideas, and promote transparency, growth, and principled leadership across our ranks.

As we mark this 87th anniversary, let us rededicate ourselves to the work ahead. With unity, purpose, and faith in our collective power, Mu Alpha will continue to be a beacon of brotherhood, leadership, and service.
